3. Order process and payment (Paddle)
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns and refunds.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) are calculated by Paddle at checkout based on your location and are shown before you pay.
- When you buy a course, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. We do not receive or store your card number or other payment details.
- After payment, you receive a confirmation email and the course appears in My Account.
4. Accounts
- To create an account, you provide your name, email address, and a password of at least 8 characters that includes both letters and numbers.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to buy a course.
- Your account and each course access are for one person only. Do not share your login with anyone.
- If you think someone else is using your account, change your password and contact us immediately.
- We may refuse or cancel an account that uses another person's identity, contains false information, or was created by automated means.
5. Courses and access period
- Essential Course: 14 Days. Advanced Course: 14 Days, available only to Members who have taken the Essential Course. Essential + Advanced Bundle: the Essential Course opens first, and the Advanced Course opens automatically when you complete the Essential Course (finish the Day 14 Final Diagnostic).
- If you complete the Essential Course and buy the Advanced Course within 30 days, the Advanced upgrade price shown on the course page applies.
- Access period: 90 days from the date of payment. For the Bundle, the Advanced Course's 90 days start on the day it opens.
- When the access period ends, you can no longer use that course's lectures and diagnostics. Your diagnostic records and reports remain in My Account.
- If you cannot use the Site for a full day or more because of a fault or maintenance on our side, we extend your access period by that time.
6. Learning and diagnostics
- You begin with the Orientation and continue Day by Day in order. A video counts as complete when you have played at least 90% of it. You can review completed content at any time.
- Some Days include a diagnostic. You must complete it to unlock the next Day.
- Diagnostic results, F-Levels, reports, and training plans are learning aids. Results depend on each person's effort and circumstances, and we do not guarantee any specific result. Figures marked as examples on the Site are for illustration.
- We may turn diagnostic and learning records into anonymous statistics to improve our courses.
- On request, we issue a Certificate of Completion according to our criteria.
7. Free services
Members can use the Free Reading Test and its report, Free Day 1 of the Essential Course after the test, and downloadable materials for free. We may change or end free services with prior notice on the Site.
8. Group Access Codes
A Group Access Code is redeemed on the Site and the access period starts on the day it is redeemed. Codes must be redeemed by the deadline agreed with the organization and may not be transferred or sold. Access periods and refunds for group enrollment follow the contract between the organization and glnoon.
9. Refunds
Refunds follow our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Paddle processes all refunds to your original payment method.
10. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- share or lend your account;
- record or film lecture videos, or copy, distribute, or sell our lectures, diagnostic questions, workbooks, or other content without permission;
- leak diagnostic questions or manipulate diagnostic results by any means;
- scrape the Site, overload our servers, or try to breach our security;
- collect other people's personal information or impersonate anyone;
- post abusive, obscene, spam, or fake reviews on the boards;
- infringe the rights of glnoon or any third party; or
- use the Services for unauthorized commercial or advertising purposes.
If you break these rules, we may suspend your use for a period or, for serious or repeated violations, end your membership. We will tell you the reason first and give you a chance to respond, except in urgent cases.
11. Intellectual property
- All content we create, including lecture videos, diagnostic questions and reports, workbooks, and textbooks, belongs to glnoon.
- You may use our content only for your own learning. You may share items we provide for sharing, such as the share image of a diagnostic report, for that purpose.
12. Your posts
- You keep the rights to what you post, and you are responsible for it.
- You allow us to display your posts on the Site as needed (for example, resizing or showing a summary). We will ask your permission before using a review outside the Site, and we will not show your full name.
- We may hide or remove posts that break Section 10. We will not hide or remove a review just because it is negative.
13. Changes to the Services and these Terms
- We may improve the structure and screens of our courses. If we reduce the content of a course you have paid for, or end it, we will notify you 30 days in advance and, if you wish, refund the unused part or switch you to another course.
- We will post changes to these Terms at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that are important or unfavorable to you, which we will also email you. Courses you have already bought follow the Terms (including the refund rules) in effect when you paid.
14. Notices
We send service notices (payment, access period, diagnostic schedule, changes to these Terms) by email or on the Site. We send promotional emails only if you agree to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
15. Limitation of liability
- We work to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, or outages of telecommunications providers. Section 5.5 (access extension) still applies.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by your own fault, such as careless password management or account sharing.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for damage caused by our intent or negligence, or any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
16. Governing law and disputes
- Please contact us first at focusforum1@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days (Korea Standard Time).
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in its courts.
